Mount to a roof rack or crossbars rated for the combined load (tent + occupants + gear). Center the tent, align mounting channels, and torque hardware to spec. Verify ladder angle and footing. Re-check all bolts after your first drive and after off-road use.

Tent came slightly damaged on bottom side and a horrendous shipping experience. Don’t use SAIA! Totally botched delivery process and either they or recon recovery damaged the product. I did have right to refuse delivery however did not due to most of the damage being on the bottom and would be covered. Gift card never came.

Have used it twice and so far so good. There's a LOT more room than I originally thought there would be. Fits 2 people, a dog, and all their stuff comfortably. Not claustrophobic at all.

Surprised by the quality

All this being said, I am glad I bought this tent. It served me well for a week long trip from in Oregon, from Bend to the Alvord Desert… all off-road. I’m already planning another week in the desert with this tent.
