Yes. When equipped with compatible crossbars, the cap supports up to 750 lbs static and 325 lbs dynamic. Always confirm that your rooftop tent and mounting hardware meet the manufacturer's requirements.
Is the truck cap waterproof?
The Expedition Cap includes multiple weather seals to help protect against water, dust, and road debris. However, no aftermarket truck cap is guaranteed to be completely waterproof, and some moisture intrusion may occur around the tailgate.
Does the front window open?
No. The front cab-side glass is fixed and does not include a sliding or pass-through opening.
Can the cap be opened from inside the truck bed?
No. All access doors operate using exterior locking latches and cannot be opened or locked from inside.
Is drilling required for installation?
No. The Expedition Cap mounts to the factory bed rails using a bolt-on clamping system. Installation typically takes 1–2 hours with basic hand tools. Two or more people are required to safely lift and position the cap, and professional installation is recommended.
How do I verify my Tundra's bed size?
Measure from the inside of the front bed wall to the inside of the closed tailgate. The 5.5ft bed measures approximately 66 inches.

The OVS Expedition Stainless Steel Truck Cap includes a Lifetime Warranty covering structural defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser.
