The Expedition Truck Cap includes a 3M single-bulb seal that runs along the bed rails and bulkhead to minimize water and dust intrusion. The rear hatch also features an integrated bulb seal that seats tightly against the top of the tailgate. Additionally, two strips of butyl tape are provided for use at the bulkhead step-down area to ensure a tight seal between the bed rails and bulkhead.
Note: No truck bed is completely watertight. Minor water intrusion may still occur, particularly around the tailgate area.
Q: Does the Jeep Gladiator Expedition Cap have a third brake light?
No. The Jeep Gladiator model does not include a third brake light because the factory tailgate already features one.
