Notes
The factory gas struts on the Carbon Fiber RTT are rated at 55 lbs each. Depending on the weight of your accessories mounted to the crossbars, you may need to upgrade the gas struts to accommodate the additional load. We provide upgraded gas struts rated at 67 lbs each for heavier setups. If you plan to upgrade, please continue reading the guidelines below to ensure safe and proper use.
As the manufacturer, we strongly recommend not exceeding a total of 67 lbs of weight, as doing so can compromise the struts’ performance, lead to premature wear, or potentially damage the tent mechanism. To ensure safety and longevity, always adhere to these specified weight limits.
We also do not recommend sleeping in the tent with fully loaded crossbars, as gas struts can lose pressure in colder climates. Lower temperatures may cause the gas inside the struts to compress, reducing their lifting capacity and overall effectiveness. To mitigate this, we suggest using a hood strut clamp to securely hold the gas struts in place when needed.
Failure to comply with these guidelines may cause injury, void your warranty, and result in unnecessary repair costs. For proper use and maintenance, follow the recommendations provided in our installation guide.
Weight Matters
Let’s face it. Modern builds are getting heavier. Between big tires, armor, and all the gear we pack, weight adds up fast. Throw a heavy rooftop tent on top and now you're dealing with a higher center of gravity, reduced stability, and more strain on your rig.
That’s exactly why we built the Carbonlite. At just 80 lbs, it’s one of the lightest hardshell tents out there. Built with a carbon fiber composite shell and aluminum frame, it keeps your setup lower, more balanced, and ready for technical terrain without giving up strength or comfort. Every feature was designed with real-world use in mind. Because when you're building for capability, weight matters.
The Carbon Advantage
Most tents on the market are built with the same heavy materials. We wanted to build something better. That’s why we turned to carbon fiber: a material known for its strength-to-weight ratio, but rarely used in this space. It allowed us to create a tent that’s strong, sleek, and remarkably light — making setup easier and travel more efficient.
Because we manufacture everything in-house, we’re not limited by what’s already out there. We control the entire process, from design to production, which lets us experiment, refine, and deliver gear that actually improves the experience out on the trail.
Air mattress + Anti condensation pad
The Carbonlite was built from the ground up based on feedback from real customers. From the way it opens to how it feels inside, every detail was shaped by people who actually use their gear.
The hybrid mattress eliminates the need for extra pads, while the diesel heater port makes cold-weather upgrades simple. And the low-profile shell improves aerodynamics without sacrificing comfort. This isn’t just a tent—it’s the result of listening, refining, and designing for real-world adventure.

Storage
This tent comes with two shoe bags at the rear end that are perfect for storing dirty shoes before entering. Furthermore, on the inside roof of the tent, there are a set of suspended pouches ideal for storing phones, wallets, keys, lights and other accessories.
