The lightweight Rooftop Tents are designed to be compatible with a wide range of aftermarket roof racks and crossbars. To ensure a hassle-free installation, we provide all the necessary mounting hardware with each tent purchase. Our package includes two types of brackets: one style for aftermarket crossbars and another style for OEM crossbars.

The standard brackets we offer are 3″ wide, so please ensure that your crossbars fall within these specifications. However, if you require brackets of different sizes, we also have options available upon request, including 3.5″ and 5″ brackets. While the 1.5 inch mattress is firm and thin, it does the job. A thin sleeping bag, a smaller pillow, a blanket, and other related items can fit in the tent, but anything more would be difficult to store.

Inspired Overland has opted for a unique approach when it comes to the materials used in their tent. The shell of the tent is composed of a sturdy material, lined with a weatherproof PVC that resembles a tonneau cover. Not only does this choice provide excellent durability and protection from the elements, but it also aids in keeping the weight manageable. To secure the tent, two gas struts are utilized along with zippers and one buckle. These zippers are particularly convenient as they make opening and closing the tent effortless, unlike other options.

This tent comes with two shoe bags at the rear end that are perfect for storing dirty shoes before entering. Furthermore, on the inside roof of the tent, there are a set of suspended pouches ideal for storing phones, wallets, keys, lights and other accessories.
