Great buy

Use this on a trailer to load motorcycles. Has no problem pulling directly or even better with a snatch block. Should always pick winch 1 1/2 times the load to be pulled so 400-600 Lb. loads are no problem. Saw one review where cable failed but they were pulling a 3000+Lb load with a 2000Lb winch - not the brightest thing to do.

Great deal

The winch was a little more expensive than a harbor fright winch but man dose it perform. I pull a 83 ¾ ton out of the mud with it and 2 snatch blocks and have used it with 2 snatch block to load a dead 6500lb 4x4 Toyota tundra on my trailer. I'd buy a second one in a hart beat well worth the money and out performs the harbor freight 2k winch. We burned up 2 of the harbor freight 2k winches not even pushing me as hard as we push the warn 2k.

Strong puller

I just received it and installed it on my small utility trailer. This winch seems to be the perfect size for my trailer. The trailer itself only has a 2500lbs capacity with the use of a snatch block this guy should be able to pull more than the capacity of my trailer no need for anything bigger. I installed the winch with one particular project in mind and it performed flawlessly I had to pull 2 skids of woodworking equipment onto the trailer one being 320lbs and the other around 280lbs. I will update this review if it fails on me.

Good product

Remote and plug into winch is great. The wireless and small form factor is great too. Only negative was the screws for the mounting are too short to mount around the bar I wanted to use

Works Right out of the Box!

Warn winch owners will really enjoy this upgrade to the original wired plug-in control unit that came with your Warn Winch. The factory control unit cable length of 10 feet limits the safety margin areas near the Triangle of Death. This wireless remote controller is a Vast Improvement with this products ability to work away from the winch cables and provides more safety margin for the operator.

Ordered this for my work truck winch. Works amazing. It says 50ft but I was all of 200ft away and still worked. Keep extra batteries and a small Phillips screwdriver to change batteries amd you'll be good to go.
