Standard Duty Tow Strap (30 ft. x 2 in.)

The Standard Duty Tow Strap features a low stretch 100% polyester material. Each Factor 55 Tow Strap is individually serialized for material lot traceability as well as properly labeled for different load configurations.

Factor 55 Tow Straps – Standard Duty and Extreme Duty 2 inch wide Double Ply 30 foot long straps. Tow straps are designed for pulling or towing vehicles. Tow straps should not be confused with “Dynamic” recovery straps like “Snatch” straps or Kinetic Recovery Ropes. Dynamic straps are designed to store large amounts of kinetic energy in the stretch of the rope, tow straps on the other hand do not store this quantity of energy.


  • Factor 55 tow straps are manufactured with a low stretch 100% Polyester material.
  • 2 inch straps can easily fit into common 3/4 inch screw pin shackle openings and we have discovered that the edges of 2 inch straps do not get abraded as easily as wider 3 and 4 inch wide straps.
  • To reach a higher minimum breaking strength of 31,000 pounds (USA Tested and repeatable), we doubled the ply and stitched it the entire length and wrapped the reinforced eyes with a durable Cordura sleeve.
  • Each Factor 55 Tow Strap is individually serialized for material lot traceability as well as properly labeled for different load configurations.
  • We also offer our tow strap in an Extreme Duty full 30 foot Cordura sleeve protected version.

Seems like it will do the trick if needed. Haven’t had to use it yet and if everything always goes to plan I never will...but the peace of mind of having it if the plan goes sideways is why I bought it.

Eliminate the conventional winch hook and replace it with a safer and stronger FlatLink shackle thimble and D-ring.   The FlatLink shackle mount is the Industry’s first folding shackle mount for recovery winches.  With less than 1.75 inches of thickness, the Flatlink will work with all roller fairlead license plate mounting brackets.
