Complementing the design and sophistication of modern 4x4s, ARB's aluminum encased awning offers a sleek and contemporary alternative to traditional awning covers while adding improved functionality. The three quick release bungee cords remove the need for zips while the flip-up lid provides unmatched simplicity. An added abrasion resistant material improves the protection of our proven 300gsm, PU coated, fully waterproofed and UV protected canvas while stowed and traveling. The awning is supported by heavy duty 4ft (1.2mm) gauge x 1 inch diameter expandable aluminum poles, anodized for greater corrosion resistance and perfect for setting up by the beach.

Good quality

So the set easy pretty easy keep in mind that you do need to drill out some holes and do some fitting and adjustments. The canopy it self if very light weight and made very sturdy and easy to set up. But I would suggest having some extra hands for the install and while setting it up for decamping. Allow about 30 mints for install. Great product

Great awning

I looked at a lot of awnings. Most are overpriced and the cheapest tend to fail. I ended up with this one mainly for one reason, the pole hinges at the top are metal. This is the most common failure point on the super cheap ones. And so far its been holding up, even with winter camping. The only issue is the poles are a bit sloppy. The black plastic cubes, which are designed to keep the polls in the tracks when stored and not banging around, simply slide down too easily. And the plastic feet should be barbed inserts, not caps - they fall off. But overall, works find and its been holding up well.

The mounting is pretty simple and straight forward. The bolts hold very tight! Make sure you won’t have to take them off for adjustments. If you do need to take them off make sure you have a spares.
