Install on a roof rack or crossbar system rated for the awning load and your vehicle’s roof rating. Center the mounting brackets across a strong mounting surface, bolt the awning, confirm clearance for deployment, and deploy once to check operation. Use included support poles when erecting walls or deploying in high-wind scenarios. Regularly inspect mounting bolts and awning arms especially after off-road use.
Covered by FreeSpirit Recreation’s standard warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Be sure to register your product online and retain proof of purchase. Warranty does not cover damage from improper mounting, high-wind misuse, or lack of maintenance.
Tip: With an awning of this size and height, always check your rack clearance, drive carefully with height load, and deploy only when the vehicle is stationary. In heavy wind or tricky terrain, support anchors and poles are recommended. Periodically check and tighten mounting hardware and inspect the canopy for wear or abrasion.
